On April 20, Washington announced the results of the Ukrainian-American contest "What did the past year mean to me." Students competed in the "Essay" nominations."Drawing", "Video", "Poetry" and "Photography". Ukrainian children had the opportunity to tell the world about their experiences, achievements, their love for the Motherland and the unity of our people. Gallery of winners:
This contest was organized by two international organizations, X-Culture (President - Dr. Vasyl Taras) and Ukraine-USA Pen Pal Program (Director - Chris Mead). Dozens of judges helped choose the winners. Daria Chumakova, a student of the 9th grade #KZLyceiMunicipal College , won first place in the "Essay" nomination, Artem Stukalo, a 9th grade student, became a finalist in the "Drawing" nomination. Congratulations to the winners, their teacher, Ludmila Chernobryvets, and our lyceum on the victory!
